PREGABALIN USE EARLY IN PREGNANCY AND THE RISK OF MAJOR CONGENITAL MALFORMATIONS
 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Patorno et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State the prevalence of major malformations in pregnancies with pregabalin exposure observed in this study
  • Discuss differences in the risk of malformations in women taking pregabalin monotherapy and those taking anticonvulsant combinations including pregabalin observed in this study
  • Discuss the incidence of enlarged cerebral ventricles in infants of women exposed to pregabalin during pregnancy observed in this study
