DEVELOPMENT OF EXCESSIVE DAYTIME SLEEPINESS IN EARLY PARKINSON DISEASE

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Tholfsen et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State how the frequency of excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in drug-naïve patients with Parkinson disease (PD) compares to controls
  • List clinical factors which differ significantly between patients with PD with and without EDS
  • Briefly discuss baseline clinical factors which are risk factors for developing EDS
