Upon completion of the article by Larrue et al, the participant should be able to:
• List the components of the ASCO classification system for cause of ischemic stroke
• Contrast the ASCO classification system with the TOAST classification system for ischemic stroke etiology
• State the most common causes of ischemic stroke among the patients in this study
• Discuss a diagnostic algorithm for investigation of the cause of ischemic stroke in young adults
