Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of the article by Cesnik et al, the participant should be able to:
  • State the prevalence of restless legs syndrome (RLS) during pregnancy. 
  • Discuss the findings of this study regarding whether RLS during pregnancy is a risk factor for the development of RLS in a later pregnancy and chronic RLS.
  • Counsel women who develop RLS during pregnancy regarding the prognosis of their RLS.
