WAIT TIME TO SEE A NEUROLOGIST AFTER REFERRAL AMONG MEDICARE PARTICIPANTS

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Lin et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State the proportion of patients who experienced a wait time of 90 days or more between referring physician visit to index neurology clinic visit in this study

  • Identify specific neurology diagnoses which were associated with the longest wait times between referring physician visit and index neurology clinic visit in this study

  • Describe how patients of varying ages experienced differences in wait times between referring physician visit and index neurology clinic visit in this study
