LONGITUDINAL CHANGES IN COGNITIVE TEST SCORES IN PATIENTS WITH RELAPSING-REMITTING MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS: AN ANALYSIS OF THE DECIDE DATASET

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Castrogiovanni et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe how cognitive performance, as measured by scores on the Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT) and Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT), changed over the span of 144 weeks among patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) included in this study
  • Discuss how changes in cognitive performance (based on PASAT and SDMT scores) were influenced by baseline cognitive status in this study
  • Identify patient-related factors at baseline that were associated with a change in performance on the PASAT between baseline and 96 weeks in this study
