ASSOCIATION OF HYPERTENSIVE DISORDERS OF PREGNANCY WITH COGNITION IN LATER LIFE

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Mielke et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss how baseline cognitive performance at study entry varied between different groups of women (based on parity status) in this study
  • Describe how performance in specific cognitive domains differed between women with a history of hypertensive disorder of pregnancy (HDP) and women with normotensive pregnancies in this study
  • Describe how decline in cognitive performance over time differed between various types of HDP, including preeclampsia/eclampsia and gestational hypertension, in this study
