SUPPORTIVE SELF-MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC HEADACHES AND MIGRAINE: A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL AND ECONOMIC EVALUATION
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Underwood et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State the proportion of patients with chronic headaches and migraine assigned to the self-management program in this trial who were able to achieve full adherence to the program
  • Describe how patient quality of life, as measured by scores on the Headache Impact Test-6 instrument, was changed by the self-management program used in this study
  • Discuss how various secondary outcomes were different between patients with chronic headache assigned to the self-management program and control patients in this study
