DISENTANGLING THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN NEUROLOGIC DEFICITS, PATIENT-REPORTED IMPAIRMENTS, AND QUALITY OF LIFE AFTER ISCHEMIC STROKE
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of the article by van der Ende et al, the participant should be able to:- Describe how scores on the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) total score were able to explain most of the variability seen in various EuroQol Group 5-Dimension Self-Reported Questionnaire (EQ-5D) domains in this study
- Discuss how specific neurologic deficits after ischemic stroke were able to explain the observed variance in patient-assigned utility scores in this study
- Identify which neurologic deficits after ischemic stroke were able to explain most of the observed variance in all EQ-5D dimensions in this study
CORE COMPETENCIES:
The article by van der Ende et al covers the following core competency:- Medical knowledge
