CSF FLOW AND SPINAL CORD MOTION IN PATIENTS WITH SPONTANEOUS INTRACRANIAL HYPOTENSION: A PHASE CONTRAST MRI STUDY

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Wolf et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss how anatomic factors, such as the cross-sectional area of the cerebrospinal fluid space at various spinal cord levels, differed between controls and patients with spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) in this study
  • Identify spinal cord levels at which craniocaudal spinal cord motion with each heartbeat was increased among patients with SIH in this study
  • Describe how certain patient factors were inversely associated with CSF dynamics at the C2/C3 level among patients with SIH included in this study
