LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Krzywicka et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State the absolute risk of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) within 28 days of receiving a first dose of ChAdOx1 nCov-19 (Astra-Zeneca/Oxford) SARS-CoV-2 vaccination found in this study
  • Identify age ranges in which the absolute risk of CVST within 28 days of receiving a first dose of ChAdOx1 nCov-19 SARS-CoV-2 vaccination was highest in this study
  • Describe how the risk of CVST within 28 days of receiving a first dose of ChAdOx1 nCov-19 SARS-CoV-2 vaccination differed before and after implementation of age restrictions for vaccination made on March 28, 2021
