Upon completion of the article by Smith et al, the participant should be able to: 

  • Identify which types of seizures were seen most commonly at the time of presentation among patients with LGI1-antibody encephalitis included in this study 

  • Describe patient and/or clinical factors associated with the development of chronic epilepsy following resolution of active LGI1-antibody encephalitis in this study 

  • Discuss the frequency and clinical course of seizures among patients who experienced a relapse of their LGI1-antibody encephalitis in this study
