PERINATAL DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY IN WOMEN WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS: A POPULATION-BASED COHORT STUDY

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Eid et al, the participant should be able to:
  • State to what degree women with a prior diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS), relative to women without MS, were at higher risk of depression late in pregnancy during this study
  • Identify patient-related or disease-related factors that were predictive of depression in the third trimester of pregnancy among women with a prior diagnosis of MS in this study
  • State the frequency of depression at 18-months postpartum among women who were newly diagnosed with MS during the same postpartum period in this study
