LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Kuohn et al, the participant should be able to:
  • State approximately what percentage of patients with a first-ever spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage survived to discharge in this study
  • State which condition was the leading cause of death in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage found in this study
  • Discuss the effect of atrial fibrillation on the rate of death by ischemic stroke and recurrent hemorrhage in this study
