LONG-TERM FOLLOW-UP, QUALITY OF LIFE, AND SURVIVAL OF PATIENTS WITH LAMBERT-EATON MYASTHENIC SYNDROME

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Lipka et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe the survival of patients with Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS), both those with and without an associated cancer, as observed in this long-term follow-up study
  • Describe the natural history of LEMS, in terms of disease exacerbations and remissions, seen in this long-term follow-up study
  • Discuss how patients with LEMS, relative to the general Dutch population, scored in various domains of health-related quality of life testing in this study
