EFFECTS OF LEWY BODY DISEASE AND ALZHEIMER DISEASE ON BRAIN ATROPHY AND COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTION

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Kang et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe how demographic and other patient-level factors differed between patients with pure Alzheimer disease-related cognitive impairment (ADCI), pure Lewy body disease-associated cognitive impairment (LBCI), and mixed cognitive phenotypes in this study
  • Describe regional differences in cortical thinning among patients with pure ADCI, pure LBCI, and mixed disease phenotypes seen in this study
  • Identify which types of cognitive domains were found to be independently detrimentally affected by both ADCI and LBCI in this study
