MEDITERRANEAN DIET AND 3-YEAR ALZHEIMER BRAIN BIOMARKER CHANGES IN MIDDLE-AGED ADULTS

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Berti et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State differences between participants with higher Mediterranean diet adherence (MeDi+) and participants with lower adherence (MeDi–) observed in this study
  • Describe what was found during this study regarding temporal lobe glucose uptake at baseline and over time for MeDi– participants compared to MeDi+ participants
  • Describe what was found regarding amyloid deposition over time for MeDi– participants compared to MeDi+ participants in this study
