MYASTHENIA GRAVIS IMPAIRMENT INDEX: RESPONSIVENESS, MEANINGFUL CHANGE, AND RELATIVE EFFICIENCY

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Barnett et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe the responsiveness of the Myasthenia Gravis Impairment Index (MGII) and its component scores to various types of treatments for myasthenia gravis (MG) seen in this study
  • Discuss differences in MGII responsiveness to treatment seen in the subset of patients with purely ocular MG in this study
  • Describe the relationship between change in the MGII (overall and its component scores) and patient reported impression of change in MG symptoms seen in this study
