LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Sveinsson et al, the participant should be able to:

  • State the relative contribution of definite, probable, and possible SUDEP to overall deaths for patients 0-15 years of age in this study
  • Discuss what clinical factors described in this study were associated with a higher incidence of SUDEP

  • Discuss the utility of death certificate data in estimating SUDEP incidence according to this study
