PREDICTION OF 3-YEAR CLINICAL COURSE IN CADASIL

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the article by Jouvent et al, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe how baseline performance on cognitive tests and other clinical variables predict disease progression in patients with cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL)
  • Discuss imaging characteristics that can supplement the predictive ability of baseline clinical variables in patients with CADASIL
  • Discuss the components of models that struck the best balance between prediction of progression in CADASIL with the lowest number of input variables
