The overall educational objectives are:

• Participants will read, understand, and reflect upon scientific, clinical, economic, and ethical aspects of contemporary neurology.
• Participants will consider how this newly learned information impacts their clinical practice. Specifically, the participants will explicitly assess how this new knowledge has changed their concepts of disease processes and has modified clinical practice.

Expiration of Credit: Credit for completing Neurology online CME will be awarded for up to 2 years after publication. Credits will be recorded in the year in which they are submitted, not the year in which the volume was published.

Verifications of Credit: You will receive an e-mail message verifying the CME credit you have earned through Neurology.

CME Credit Deadlines

When you have completed all of the quizzes for a particular issue, you must submit the issue for CME credit via the Internet. If you are not sure whether you have submitted completed issues for CME credit, you may access your Current CME Report by clicking on the "My CME" button on the Neurology home page. If you have submitted an issue for CME credit, your Current CME Report will indicate you received 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits if both CME courses for the issue are completed.

To receive your CME transcript through the American Academy of Neurology, go to aan.com, select "Education", then select "My CME Transcript." Earned Neurology online CME will be available on the AAN transcript one week after completion.
